Figs are fascinating fruits (They are actually flowers). There is no other fruits with so many varieties with unique taste and appearances. Some varieties have strong berry flavors, others are sugar/honey taste while others are with complex flavors and there is no word to describe it. When mature, figs might be green, yellow, purple, brown, black or even strips. The interior pulp might be cream, yellow, pink or red or purple. The leaves might be single lobe, three lobs, five lobes or seven lobs and deeply fingered. The fig might grow breba crops on the last years wood. These will be ripen early and some might need a little bit heat and longer season to ripe. Figs are easy to grow. They are very easy to root or graft. If you give them full sun and water them when it has not rain for a while. They will bear delicious fruit for you to enjoy all season long.
