It’s time to move the plants to outdoor when the spring has come. Several factors to be considered:
- Temperature: Is the temperature consistently above 45 degree but get ready to move the plant indoor when the temperature dropped below 40 degree. Old and fully lignified trees are more tolerant to colder temperature. Younger and tender can suffer freezing damage.
- Humidity: The humidity is typically higher in the indoor growing. Give it plenty of water while bring the tree outdoor for the first time. Watch for the leave, if the leaves are drooping, ready to bring it indoor. Place the tree in the shade initially to minimize the water loss.
- Sunlight: Sunlight is much stronger the LED. Bring the tree in the shade, not only minimize water loss also minimize the sun burn. The plant need to acclimate to full sun gradually. I started from the deep shade and move 6 inches everyday until it’s under the full sun.
